Sanne Huijbregts – Multisound with vision

Sanne Huijbregts is a musical border crosser – singer, composer, vibraphonist, sound researcher. Her creativity knows no genre, no clear boundaries: she combines indie, jazz, songwriting and improvisation to create artistic, surprising soundscapes.

At just 14, she was performing on stage at the Concertgebouw in Amsterdam, later studied at the renowned EUJAM program and received several awards – including the prestigious Keep an Eye Foundation’s The Records award for the EvenSanne collective duo’s debut CD Something so sweet (2014). EvenSanne’s follow-up album What If (2017) was nominated for the Edison Jazz/World Awards.

Even during the pandemic, she did not stand still: With her online series A Song A Day, she created new music every day in dialog with international musicians – a project full of intimacy, curiosity and artistic openness.

Sanne Huijbregts is a voice of the new European jazz generation – poetic, unconventional and profoundly musical.

On the penultimate evening of the rejazz-festival 2025, her band Sanne Sanne, recent winner of the Dutch Jazz Competition, invites you to an intense concert experience full of imagination, surprises and musical narrative power.
